Product Description
This organic Ancho Chili is a special treat, as organic dried chilies are quite difficult to come by. Ancho chili is a well-known and widely used chili across different regions in Mexico, and is mild with a ripe fruity flavor. Our dried Ancho chili is plump and dark red with flexible flesh, as the chilies are treated according to absolute best practices, to give you the best quality dried chili we can. It is the dried version of the ubiquitous Poblano chile, native to the state of Puebla and is used in moles, guisado sauces, and adobos amongst many other dishes.
Serving Suggestion
Try using this chili for your everyday stew, or as the base for your own homemade mole.
